About

Hi! I'm Amy. I've been dabbling in natural health for several years, helping friends and family improve their health, rid the need of harmful pharmaceuticals, learn how to care for health issues in a more holistic way, and see their life satisfaction quotient improve dramatically!
After retiring from a very full-time corporate position as a Director in a Fortune 5 company,
I increased my focus on natural health and in 2019 I joined Rosa Transformational Health, a functional medical health clinic in Southern Oregon, as a Program Health Coach.
In 2021 I completed a Mastery Certification in Functional Nutrition. After leaving Rosa at the end of 2021, I continue to broaden my skills and knowledge and enjoy helping people in all walks of life make the changes needed (big and small) to help them feel their best and do what the love to do.

My Services

I work with you to come up with the very best solutions for your health needs and challenges!

Personal Health Assessment & Nutrition Counseling

Unlike conventional or even “natural” approaches to health, functional nutrition addresses health issues by finding root causes and building from there. There is no “one-size-fits-all” – it’s all about you and what it best for your body. There are generally five steps to this process and is customized for you. Contact me for options best suited for you.

Discounted Supplements and Other Healthy Products

Take advantage of my Fullscripts dispensary for a significant discount on over 22,000 quality supplements and nutraceuticals. Pure essential oils, non-toxic personal care products and household cleaning products (made in the USA) are also available at a discount. How can I make your life easier and keep more money in your wallet?

Healthy Home Assessment

A two-hour home visit in person or via Zoom for the purpose of identifying foods, beverages, household and personal care products that may be toxic or unhealthy for you and your family. A written assessment will be provided which will include recommendations, healthy substitutions, and a simple strategy you can use to minimize toxic exposure and improving health.

Let’s Go Shopping

Need help getting into the groove of shopping for organic, non-toxic products? Want to learn how to spot misleading labels, unhealthy ingredients, or understand produce codes? We can spend an hour together at your favorite grocery store (or I can introduce you to local stores that carry healthy products) and see how to shop healthier!

My goal is to share the things I know that will help with healing in all aspects of life. I combine functional approaches to health with spiritual principles for a holistic approach to overall wellness.
I am an avid researcher with a broad network. While my focus is gut-repair, detox and overall education about nutrition an its impact, I have other areas of interest as well, including addressing issues around the current virus, prophylaxis and therapeutics. If I don't have the answer, I will find it!

Rosa Health

I worked here until the end of 2021 when Rosa's format changed from one-on-one care to online learning. Rosa's mission (and mine) is still to dive in, get to the root causes of long-term health issues, help you change things from the inside out, and empower you to know, for the rest of your life, how to take control of your health, get it back, and keep it there. If you are interested in Rosa's inexpensive online learning program, let me know. There are self-paced and personally guided options.

Approach

Functional Nutrition is the future of healthcare, and Functional Nutrition Alliance has the most comprehensive, practical, and heart-centered training program on the market. I completed this certification in the Fall of 2021 and am putting the true science and art of the Functional Nutrition into practice. I am thrilled to be able to continue my connection with Functional Nutrition Alliance at least through Fall of 2022 to take advantage of additional content made available to alumni.

More of my story...

My journey into natural health was a very gradual one that began while I was in the Air Force. I was pregnant and my first prenatal appointment at the military hospital was the worst experience I’d had with the medical community up to that point. I won’t go into details, but I left there and went straight home and looked up “Midwife” in the Yellow Pages. In 1985 I had the most amazing pregnancy and birthing experience, so much so that I became a Natural Childbirth Educator and Birth Attendant.

Hanging around that community gave me my first insight into natural remedies for pain, nausea and many women’s issues. Healthy nutrition was the clarion call as we started out working with newly expectant parents.

Many years later I became familiar with the wonderful world of holistic chiropractic care. Around this time, I also observed a good friend reverse her and her daughter’s thyroid issues with homeopathy and essential oils. I began to learn the amazing benefits of essential oils and am a proponent of them to this day.

Shortly after this my mother came to live with us. She was on nine different prescriptions! Within 4-6 months, using nutrition, supplements, and essential oils, she was down to three meds and was a new woman! She had more energy, major improvement in her short-term memory, less pain, and was a much happier person. The change was so dramatic that I made the decision to make natural health care a focus after my retirement in some way.

In 2016 my mom died of radiation poisoning –- a medical treatment given her to shrink metastatic brain cancer. It was supposed to extend her life by months but instead took it in six weeks. That solidified my decision as I spent many months focused on researching safer and more effective cancer treatments.

Following retirement from a full-time corporate leadership role and a move to Southern Oregon, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes (which I later learned was brought on by years of taking beta-blockers for what I was told was genetic hypertension). My integrative doctor recommended a vegan diet. Not only did it not lower my A1C, but it also made me miserable cooking separate meals! In a few months I was in the diabetic range. I learned about a local clinic through a friend who offered a program through which she reversed her diabetes. I went through that program at Rosa Transformational Health and reversed my hypertension within the first month. Once I weaned myself off that Rx, my blood sugar also began to lower. Within two months my A1C was completely within normal range, and I learned SO much more about nutrition, supplementation, and natural hormone therapy.

A year later I accepted a position at that Rosa as a Program Health Coach. During that time, I worked with many clients who experienced the same amazing results as I did, and much more! After a year with the clinic and experiencing tremendous joy in this new role, as well as helping friends and family, I entered into a Mastery Certification with Functional Nutrition Alliance’s Full Body Systems program, from which I graduated in the Fall of 2021. Due to the impact of restrictions on businesses implemented to allegedly combat the CCP virus, Rosa experienced a significant downsizing in 2020 as we went completely virtual. A number of format changes in the ensuing months resulted in a new direction of creating online content that would allow a far greater audience to learn and implement the practices that have been so very successful in the face-to-face setting. This online program launched in January 2022.

There are SO many aspects of natural health and so much to learn! I believe in life-long learning and that we should never stop growing in knowledge. I look forward to learning more and to helping others learn. I also firmly believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” –- God created each and every one of us to be unique and reflect different facets of His character. Learning about what works for us nutritionally is a personal journey, and while some things are common to all, not all things are best for all. So, here’s to YOUR journey to learn what’s best for YOU, what amazing things God has made you to do, and positive changes made in physical, mental and spiritual wellness that result in greater health and joy!
